The End! for now
When I say “for now” I mean it could be forever - Knowing me though it probably won’t be!! Anyway having gotten back in to regular playing of FM coupled with helping out with official FM09 research = little or no time to edit. Factor in “editing fatigue” and it all grounds to a halt.
Well that’s the boring stuff out of the way, I know you’re only interested to find out what’s gonna happen with this site? Well at this stage - Nadda! But, the 3 main elements of the update will continue to exist. The database previously known as the FMupdates/FMsweden is now in the full time ownership of FMsweden. The forum is continuing to thrive from FMweegie moving in, and finally but no means least important is my faithful update crew - They can be found these days over at Goal-Kick producing a joint update with the FMView members.
So that wraps up why this place has been dead for a wee while!!
New update is out
As promised yesterday the new update is now released! Just click the download button, select the file and enjoy!!

From the 1st May FMupdates.co.uk will become ….. FMupdates.net. There are several reasons for this which either will become clear or I’ll make clearer nearer the time. Just thought I’d give you all advance warning to get ready to change your bookmarks!!
In other news, the new update should be released at some stage tomorrow.
Our first update for 8.0.2..
is now released!
The main focus for this update has been overhauling Holland, Germany, USA and Australia but rest assured a lot of other bits and pieces have been sorted as well. Hope you like
Next up we have an overhaul of Sweden, Turkey and Greece amongst others planned!!
Turkish Finance fix
Thanks to our friends over at Turksportal.net we are able to bring you the .edt file that is intended to fix a problem where Fenerbache and Galatasaray lose silly amounts of money.
Custom DB: EU Database 0.1
Fed up with Work Permit restrictions? Too many Non-EU players? well not any more, I took our 11/02/08 database made all countries part of the EEC and voilà - the first beta version is here!!!

Well we love it so much we’ve released another update complete with Dowie sacked from Coventry (Shame!!)

The work continues …
Yes that’s right - click downloads and you’ll find that we’ve released another update. This one clears up a few issues from our weekend update and also includes a sweep across Turkey and Greece amongst others.
Update time again!
Slight change this time around as “Latest-Update” is now titled “Downloads” and that the file is hosted on this site rather than Filefront or Megaupload - So download and get complaining!!!

Well thanks to Wireframebox you now can. Anyone that played with his patch on FM2007 knows it’s top quality stuff and now it’s back in beta form for FM2008.
In case you are wondering it’s the Malaysian League that has been sacrificed to bring you this years edition and also has the added bonus of being able to play the Emperors Cup as well!!
