FM09 Update V5 is now out

As the title says – Version 5 (Codenamed Musampa) of our FM2009 update is released. A lot of work has gone into this one but if I get everything into the next one I’m planning we’ll once again raise the bar on Data Updates!

One of the major changes that’s been included in V5 is correcting the Qualifier for the CAF super cup. Up until this point the game has been selecting the winner of the defunct African Cup Winner’s cup, but with a bit of jiggery pokery the winner of the African Confederations Cup now qualifies instead – just how it should be! If Africa’s not your thing then maybe Scandinavia is as now Norway, Finland & Sweden have been updated over the last few weeks. Also an honourable mention for that well known competition – USL-2 in the US of A as that’s received an update in time for the 2009 season!
