Richie and Sam drive to Woodsboro, where Sam meets up with Tara’s friends Wes, Amber Freeman, Chad and Mindy Meeks-Martin, and Chad’s girlfriend Liv McKenzie before visiting Tara in the hospital. Stu Macher’s nephew Vince Schneider, Liv’s ex-boyfriend, is killed that night by Ghostface outside a pub.

Sam is beaten by Ghostface at the hospital, and she tells Tara that she has been having hallucinations of Billy Loomis.
